RUNS DOWN PEOPLE WITH VEHICLE

WEST LINCOLN -- Authorities
say a domestic incident could
have turned out tragic for up to
five people after a Lincolnton
woman ran into two people with a
pickup truck. Before she was
finished, authorities said she
triied to hit three more people
with the vehicle.
Deputy James Owens said the
incident occurred at a residence
at 356 Hilltop Road off Highway
150 West when Lisa Rose
Dellinger, 40, of 4170 W. Highway
27, Lincolnton drove a GMC Sierra
pickup into the front yard of the
house striking Billy Joe Reynolds
and Dawn Wilde Wood.
Officer Owens stated the suspect
then drove the truck toward three
other subjects in the yard. The
suspect reportedly drove the
vehicle into the yard three times
in the direction of the victims.
She then left the scene and went
to the magistrate's office to
report that Billy Reynolds had
hit her in the head earlier. Mr.
Reynolds and Ms.Wood were
transported to CMC-Lincoln where
they were treated for injuries.
Warrants were issued for Ms.
Dellinger and Deputy C. Locklear
stopped the suspect vehicle on
Shoal Road and Highway 182 on
Sunday morning. She was arrested
on three felony counts of Assault
With A Deadly Weapon With the
Intent To Kill, two felony counts
of Assault With A Deadly Weapon
With the Intent to Kill and
Inflicting Serious Injury, and
one misdemeanor count of Injury
To Personal Property.
She was placed in the Harven A
Crouse Detention Center under a
$100,500 secured bond. Her first
appearance was Monday in
Lincolnton court.
