ATTACKED AT RESIDENCE

Angela
Hollingsworth Wilson was arrested
Saturday evening for assaulting a woman
in the parking lot of Wilson's residence.
By Jon Mayhew (LINCOLNTON)
-- A 20-year-old woman is attacked over
the weekend as shes getting out of
her vehicle at a Lincolnton residence.
Around 7pm Saturday, Lincolnton Police
officer Tony Potts responded to the
Lincoln County Courthouse, where he
located Lindsey Jewel Blalock of Asbury
Church Road.
She told me that when she opened
her car door at a residence on North
Aspen Street, she was attacked by two
females, said Potts. She was
able to identify the vehicle and the two
suspects.
Blalock was uncooperative with police
regarding why she was attacked or who
attacked her. However, she was able to
swear out warrants at the
Magistrates Office.
A short time after the attack,
37-year-old Angela Wilson was stopped by
officer Richard Harrington on South
Poplar Street. A portable intoxilyzer
indicated Wilson had been drinking. After
investigating, Wilson was charged with
assaulting Blalock.
Wilson was charged with driving while
impaired; possession of less than a half
ounce of marijuana; injury to personal
property; assault and battery; and
larceny.
She was taken to the Harven A. Crouse
Detention Center under a $3,500 secured
bond.
