VALE - William Bumgarner, 71, of 1691 Hasta Lane, passed away July 17, 2009.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Matthews United Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mr. Bumgarner was born Jan. 31, 1938, in Catawba County, to the late Frank and Bessie Keever Bumgarner.

Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Bumgarner family.
