Authorities Investigating
ATM Incident

Overnight, authorities investigated an incident at a western Lincoln County automated teller machine, where two suspects may have tried to break in to the machine. Now, authorities are searching for the suspects in the case.

The incident was called in to the Lincoln County Communications Center around 11pm Thursday.

A caller told dispatchers there was someone behind a Cash Points machine near the 700 block of Highway 18.

One of the suspects was armed with an axe, according to the caller. The suspects are described as a male wearing a white hoodie and black jeans and a male wearing dark clothing.

Authorities were looking for the suspects behind the Country Corner store. State Employees Credit Union officials were notified of the incident.
