LINCOLNTON -- Authorities
serve warrants on a Lincolnton man and discover
he's a wanted fugitive.
According to a report at the
Lincolnton Police Department, 22-year-old
Nicholas Shawn Wright of 337 D. Street,
Lincolnton, was served felony warrants for being
a fugitive at the intersection of Hubbard and
Carney Streets Thursday afternoon around 12:15
p.m.
The reports didn't indicate
where the fugitive warrants eminated from but did
indicate that a U.S. Marshal was coming to pick
up Wright for extradition purposes. Authorities
feared he would make the $10,000 secured bond
quickly from the Harven A. Crouse Detention
Center.
During a search of Wright's
vehicle, authorities discovered druges and also
charged Wright with a felony charge of possessing
cocaine. The report indicated he had nearly 14
grams of cocaine.
