LINCOLNTON - Virginia Bryte Pate Bynum, 89, of 1194 Brookhaven Drive in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2009.

Her funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at River View Baptist Church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bynum was born Nov. 13, 1919, in Lincoln County, to the late John Wesley and Ella Mae Burleson Pate.

Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Bynum family.
