Lincoln County's Newest Online Newspaper Now Presents Video....
Lights, Camera....ACTION!

LINCOLN COUNTY -- The Carolina Scoop, Lincoln County's newest online newspaper where "the readers get the whole story, fair and truthful," rolled out video offerings Monday. The first video presented by The Carolina Scoop involved workers with Bugg Busters removing the steeple cap from St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Lincolnton.

The Carolina Scoop's publisher, Jon Mayhew, previously used video as a newspaper editor to present yet another angle of stories to readers.

"Today, we once again make newspaper history," said Mayhew. "We've added exciting things like a gas tracker, more crime information with 'Arrested Developments' and now we have video."
