Sheriff Tim Daugherty inspects marijuana plants found in western Lincoln County

VALE -– Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics investigators seized more than 30 marijuana plants found growing on property in the 8000 block of Reeps Grove Church Road.

Travis Eugene Hull, 42, of 8000 Hulls Grove Church Road was taken into custody and charged with felony Possession of Marijuana, felony Manufacturing a Controlled Substance and felony Trafficking in Marijuana.

Some of the marijuana plants were 8 to 10 feet tall. The total weight of the plants was 70 pounds. Some of the marijuana will be placed into evidence while the remainder will be destroyed.

Hull was released from the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $40,000 secured bond and had a first appearance in court today.
