VALE COUPLE FACES CHILD SEX CHARGES

VALE -- A Western Lincoln County couple faces sexual assault charges involving a sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl. And investigators said Wednesday night, more charges could be pending in a case where the victim is a relative of the suspects.

According to Lincoln County Sheriff's Det. Jim Etters, he received information on the case that was reported from a county DSS worker.

Jimmy Dean Black, 34, and Patricia Ann Black, 36, of Knottywood Lane, Vale, were both arrested and charged by Etters.

Mr. Black is charged with statutory rape, incest between near relatives and taking indecent liberties with a minor. Mrs. Black was charged with accessory after the fact of all three charges.

"Mr. Black is accused of having sex with the minor, then showing her sexually explicit porn movies," said Etters. "Mrs. Black is charged with knowing about the incidents and not reporting them to law enforcement."

Etters would not say how many incidents took place or how the victim and suspects are related.
Both suspects were arrested Tuesday and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center. Jimmy Black is under a $200,000 secured bond while bond for Patricia Black was set at $75,000 secured.
