TWO PEOPLE FOUND DEAD IN GASTONIA HOME
Investigation into incident continued Sunday

GASTONIA -- Authorities spent a large chunk of their Saturday investigating the deaths of two residents at a Gastonia home.

And the investigation may continue Monday.

Sunday, 1117 Jannee Court resembled a crime scene, with yellow tape cordoning off the residence and police cars around.

"Something's going on down there," said an anonymous caller to The Carolina Scoop.

The Carolina Scoop confirmed through WSOC-TV that the residence is located off Carson Road. Authorities said the bodies were found in the kitchen of the residence.

Police were not releasing much information as of Sunday evening. They said a child does live at the home, but was with relatives when police arrived at the scene. The case remains under investigation.
