STORMS CONTINUE TO PLAY HAVOC IN LINCOLN

July 14, 2008

LINCOLN COUNTY --
During the past week, Lincoln County has seen its share of the fury of Mother Nature. It's evident in the amount of limbs and tree debris that's now on the sides of the roads across the county.

Late last week, crews along North Grove Street spent time picking up limbs from storms that would pass through during the early afternoon....and Mother Nature's fury may not be over yet.

Thunderstorms are predicted to occur during the first three days of the work week this week.

In last week's storms, power lines were reported down in west Lincoln; multiple alarms went off during the thnuder and lightning. Heavy rain also accompanied the storms.

While Lincoln County got a break from storms Saturday, rain greeted residents on Sunday.
