STOP LEADS TO ARREST

-- A Hickory man is arrested
after Lincolnton Police stop the vehicle
for a tail light violation.
Offiers
stopped a 1996 Volvo driven by Grant
Kaylor, 1329 Zion Church Road, Hickory,
in the parking lot of the Little Market
Basket on East Main Street around 1am
Wednesday.
Using a
LPD canine unit, two crack pipes were
discovered in Kaylor's vehicle after the
suspect consented to having his vehicle
searched by police. He was also charged
with not having a driver's license and
failing to register his vehicle.
Bond was
set at $500 secured.
