SHERRILLS FORD -- Mr. Thomas Arthur Rash, age 81, of 4257 Harbor Lane Sherrills Ford passed away on Wednesday February 11, 2009.

There are no services planned at this time. The family will receive friends on Saturday February 14, 2009 at Warlick Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00pm, and at other times at the home 4257 Harbor Lane Sherrills Ford.

Mr. Rash was a native of Gaston County born on February 4, 1928 son of the late Thomas and Fannie Huffstetler Rash Sr.

Mr. Rash was a technician with Western Electric for thirty three years before retiring. Mr. Rash also served his country during WWII in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife Ruth L. Rash of the home; one son Stanley Thomas Rash of Winston Salem; two daughters Donna R. Rider of Lexington, and Libby Coggin of Arcadia N.C.; three sisters Helen Hoffman, Lois Huss, and Monee Atkins all of Lincolnton; two great grandchildren Joanna Harper, Danielle Harper; two great great grandchildren Isabella Gares and Dahelin Gares.
