ARRESTED IN VEHICLE BREAK-IN

CROUSE
-- Two western Lincoln County teenagers
are arrested by
sheriff's detectives in connection with a
break-in and larceny of a work
truck.

Deaton is charged with felony counts of
breaking and entering a motor
vehicle; larceny and possession of stolen
goods. Walker, meantime, is
charged with felony larceny.
The teens are accused of breaking into a
1999 truck owned by Turner and
Baxter Painting during the early morning
hours of Dec. 29, 2008. The truck
driver, Kenneth Shull, found the truck
ransacked. A small amount of cash,
cigarettes, some medications, and a
mans gold ring were stolen. The
items were valued at $250.
Other charges are pending and the
investigation is continuing.
Deaton was released on a $5,000 secured
bond while Walker was
released on a $2,500 secured bond.
