MAN
ARRESTED FOR STABBING WOMAN

LINCOLNTON
-- A Lincolnton man is charged with
stabbing a woman with a knife.
Police responded
to a residence on 417 Liberty Street around 6:45
p.m. Friday.
Officer Oscar
Calderon, along with Lt. Dwite Shehan and Sgt.
Jeremy Wilson, responded to the residence after a
911 open line call into the Lincoln County
Communications Center.
According to the
incident report, the female -- identified in the
arrest report as victim Dania Ramos -- said she
needed help then either dropped the phone or put
the phone down.
Upon arriving at
the scene, officers were told the couple were
inside. Officers went inside and found Victor
Manuel Ramos, 36, walking out of the kitchen.
Victor Ramos was
taken into custody without incident. Only after
officers apprehended Ramos, Dania Ramos came out
with a laceration on her hip. She was treated by
Lincoln EMS.
Victor Ramos,
meantime, was taken to the Harven A. Crouse
Detention Center without bond. He was charged
with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to
kill inflicting serious injury. Ramos' first
appearance is Monday morning in Lincolnton
district court.
