It seems that MWF Commissioner
Chris Mellon can't stop ending
up on the canvas by the end of a Saturday
night show at the Howards Creek Veterans
Center in Lincolnton. First, he was given
a DDT by "Outlaw Keith
Matthews." Then, he was
slapped across the face by referee Scott
Foster.

Now, at the most
recent show, Mellon fell to the hands of
Dirty Money Syndicate -- Mr. Hojo
Devlin, Mr. Zane Riley and their manager,
Mr. Trey Williams. Mellon
confronted Williams at the end of an MWF
Tag Team Championship match, where he
told Williams that after three tries,
Williams' team couldn't "get the job
done."
After Mellon was
finished talking, he turned around and
took a stunner from Mr. Zane
Riley. After hitting the canvas,
the trio beat on Mellon until Matthews, "Sensation"
Markus Hayes, Foster and "The
Queen City Classic" Chris Solar chased
DMS back to the locker room.
Yes, I said "The
Queen City Classic" Chris Solar assisted
in saving Mellon. It seems
the once-hated Solar is having a change
of attitude as of late, looking to
Matthews for guidance and support.
During the Jan. 10,
2009 show, Solar decided to cash in his
"anytime championship" match
contract against MWF Champion "The
All American" Rob Deputy.
It turned out to be one of the shortest
championship matches on record, as Solar
fell victim to the spear and a pinfall.
Later in the show, a
battle royal was held to determine a new
top contender. Matthews was supposidly
the last man standing in the ring, but
Solar came from behind, and with a low
blow again became the number one
contender to Deputy's championship.
At the beginning of
the show saw "Outlaw"
Keith Matthews tell Deputy and
the crowd he wants to be in line for a
title shot. Solar comes out and says he's
the top contender, then asks Outlaw how
to go about taking advantage of the title
shot.
The trio of Damage
Incorporated and Solar go to the back,
much to the dismay of Deputy.
Now, after chasing
off Dirty Money Syndicate, Deputy attacks
Solar from behind and is pulled off Solar
by Matthews and Hayes.
Solar and Mellon seem
to be going through an attitude
adjustment, as Mellon was confronted at
the last show in December by DMS.....
In other MWF news, Mr.
Badd is still out of action with
an ankle injury. He's expected to return
in about a month and a half.....The date
for MWF Ultimate Jeopardy has
been tentatively set for the second
Saturday in March......

Bad news for "The
Pacific Tsunami" Nave...his
losing streak in the MWF continues, as he
lost a falls-count-anywhere-anything-goes
match to former tag team partner "The
Alley Rat" Pitt....The
Waco Kid recently got a haircut
and style from "The All
American" Rob Deputy, as
Waco lost a hair-versus-title match
aginst the World Champion.....
The next
MWF show is Saturday, January 24 at the
Howards Creek Veterans Center in
Lincolnton. Bell time is 7pm and doors
open at 8pm. Admission is $5 and children
six and under are admitted free. For more
information on the MWF, visit the Web
