DID LINCOLNTON MAN
FIRE SHOTS FRIDAY NIGHT?

LINCOLNTON -- Police
are investigating a bizzare incident Friday night
involving a hispanic male hiding in the woods.
Lincolnton Police officers
responded to reports of shots fired in the 400
block of Green Street. They discovered spent
shell casings of a .45 caliber weapon behind a
residence on Huss Street.
According to the Lincolnton
Police Department's incident report, the
responding officer to the scene heard someone in
the wood line behind the residence. With the
protection of the public in the forefront of
their minds, the oficers headed into the woods
towards Davis Street without consideration of
their own safety.
In the woods, officers
located Sergio Bravo of 505 Huss Street.
Officer Richard Harrington
cited Bravo for resisting; obstructing and
delaying an officer for hiding in the woods and
giving false identification to a police officer.
Bravo was released at the
magistrate's office.
It's not known if Bravo fired
the weapon.
