SECOND SEX ARREST

LINCOLN COUNTY -- A second arrest has been made in a sexual assault case from an incident that occurred in 2006.

Ashley Beal Braddy, 24, Lowell Avenue, Cramerton, was charged with statutory sexual offense with a child over six years old and taking indecent liberties with a minor.

The incident occurred between July and September 2006 and involved a then-15-year-old female.

Braddy was released from the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $9,500 secured bond.

Last week, Detective Grinnell charged Adam Lee Braddy, 22, of Iron Station in connection with the same case. He remains in the Detention Center under a $40,000 secured bond. Adam and Ashley Braddy lived in the Vale area at the time the incident occurred.
