ROLLOVER ACCIDENT SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL

Firefighters and police look over a rolled-over SUV after a two car accident at East Main Street and the on-ramp to Highway 321.

By Jon Mayhew (LINCOLNTON) -- A two-car accident late Friday afternoon sent one person to the hospital.

Authorities were called to an accident involving a roll-over at East Main Street and Highway 321.

According to Lincolnton Police Lt. Randy Willis, Bonnie Minor, 36,
Conover, was making a left turn onto U.S. 321 ramp when another vehicle
collided with her SUV.

The driver of a Suzuki, Jennifer Mills of Boiling Springs, SC, told police she
intended to drive through the green light; however, she doesn't remember
whether or not the light was actually green.

Mills wasn't injured; Minor was taken to CMC Lincoln with non-life
threatning injuries. No charges have been filed in the accident.
