LINCOLNTON
- Richard Lee Berryhill passed away on June 7, 2009,
after a brief illness.
The celebration of life will be held in the chapel of Warlick
Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 2 p.m.. Pastor
Charles Stevens and Pastor Jim Tuggle will officiate. Interment
will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Receiving of friends and
family will be held prior to the service at 1 p.m. at Warlick
Funeral Home.
He was born on February 12, 1915. He was a World War II veteran.
He was active in his church for many years. He retired as a
mechanic from Ford Motors, and he was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy McClure Berryhill and
his parents, Daniel and Fannie Crouch Berryhill, and by his
siblings, Hugh Roy Berryhill, Ruby Berryhill Brooks , Fred
Berryhill , Bessie Berryhill Canipe, Maudie Berryhill Massagee,
Emma Berryhill Pruitt, Robert D. Berryhill, and an infant sister.
He is survived by three siblings, Lula Berryhill Coley, William
Berryhill, Junie Berryhill Tuggle. He is also survived by many
nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and
great-great-nieces and nephews. He leaves behind many friends and
extended family.

United Methodist Church, 2582 Gastonia Highway, Lincolnton, NC
28092, or the American Diabetes Association 222 S. Church St.
Suite 336M, Charlotte, NC 28202.
