Man faces
child sex charges

March 22, 2011 – Lincoln
County Sheriff's detective Sally
Dellinger has charged a Lincolnton
man on felony child sex charges.
Roger Dale Reynolds, 46, of the 1200
block of Meandering Lane, was charged
following an investigation into
claims he touched a 10-year-old boy
and a five year old girl
inappropriately. The incidents
allegedly occurred at a Lincoln
County residence and were reported
March 16 by the Lincoln County
Department of Social Services.
The Sheriff's Office said the suspect
did know the victims. Detective
Dellinger arrested Reynolds on
Friday.
Reynolds was placed in the Harven A.
Crouse Detention Center under a
$40,000 secured bond. He had a
first appearance hearing in District
Court on Monday.
As of Tuesday, Reynolds remained in
jail with a next court appearance set
for April 7.
