Robert Farnam
RESTAURANT
SCAMMER SCAMS AGAIN
WAUKESHA, WI -- A Waukesha,
Wisconsin man who went to a series of
restaurants in the city and complained of
chest pains to avoid paying his bills is
out on bail.
Robert Farnam, 52, was arrested after he
took a cab to a mall Monday and pretended
to have a heart attack, thus avoiding
paying the cab driver. Farnam then
allegedly ate at a local restaurant and
complained of chest pains as a way to get
out of paying his bill.
The fire department took Farnam to the
hospital, where a doctor recognized him
as having pulled the same stunt
previously.
He was charged with defrauding a
restaurant as a habitual criminal. He
could get up to nine months in prison and
a $10,000 fine.
