
Raid on East Lincoln Residence Nets Drugs,
Money and Firearms
Two Arrested
Including Fugitive from Michigan

STANLEY -
Armed with a search warrant and arrest warrants,
the Lincoln County Sheriffs Office Tactical
Response Team raided a residence on Old Plank
Road Friday, August 22, 2008.
Narcotics investigators conducted a month long
undercover operation after getting information
that drugs and stolen property were at the
residence at 5664 Old Plank Road.

While executing the search warrant, the Tactical
Response Team encountered several subjects on the
property and the occupant of the property,
Charles Earnest Walker, 35, of 5664 Old Plank
Road, Stanley was quickly taken into custody.
Narcotics and criminal investigators then took
over the scene in search of narcotics, weapons
and stolen property.
Investigators found 7.5 pounds of marijuana,
along with cocaine, ecstasy and several other
prescription drugs. Officers also seized a number
of weapons and $3,000 in cash. CID investigators
also found several items of stolen property.
Since Charles Walker is a convicted felon and
weapons were found on his property, the ATF was
contacted.
One person detained
at the scene, Chris Lee Jando, 46, of Daybrook
Court, Stanley was arrested on a fugitive from
justice warrant out of Michigan. He was wanted
for parole violation and had been evading capture
for the last eight years. He is being held
without bond awaiting extradition.
Charles Earnest Walker is charged with three
counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, six
counts of possession with the intent to
manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled
substance Schedule VI (Marijuana), one count each
of possession of cocaine, possession of stolen
goods, and trafficking heroin, five counts of
sell and deliver of a controlled substance
Schedule VI (Marijuana) , two counts of
possession with the intent to manufacture, sell
and deliver a controlled substance Schedule II,
one count maintaining a dwelling for a controlled
substance and two counts of sell and deliver a
controlled substance Schedule II. All charges are
felonies.
He is in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center
under a $250,000 secured bond.
