Date of arrest - June 11, 2008 - 01:00 hrs
Officer Billy Burgin stopped Lobo for speeding at E. Main Street and Salem Church Road around 1:00 a.m. During the stop, officer Burgin discovered Lob's license was revoked. THe suspect told Burgin his name was Josh Lobo, which was determined to be ficticious.
Lobo has been charged with Misdemeanor Driving While License Revoked; Window Tint Violation; Providing False Information to a Police Officer.
Bond: $500 - Secured
The trial has been scheduled for 07/18/08 in District Court

Jeffery Wayne Powers- Age 19

Gastonia, NC
Date of Arrest: June 11, 2008 at 14:30hrs.
Powers was wanted by police on charges of Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle.
Gastonia Poice turned powers over to Lincolnton Police on Highway 321 at Gastonia Highway
Powers has the following charges against him:
5 counts of Felony Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle
3 counts of Misdemeanor Larceny
1 count of Misdememenr Damage to Property
Powers was also served a Probation Violation by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office

While an inmate at the Harven A Crouse Detention Center, Cox was charged with the following additional charges
He has been charged with Felony Financial Card - 1 count
Felony Identity Theft - 2 counts
Felony Obtaining property by False Pretenses - 2 counts
Cox is being held at the Harven A Crouse Detention Center under a $63,000 secured bond.

Dereco Donte Eskridge - Age 29

Date of arrest: June 10, 2008 at 02:34hrs
Eskridge was stopped for leaving his vehicle unattended and running at The Petro Express. Complaints had also been received by Lincolnton Police that the music coming from the vehicle was too loud. The officer also noticed the registration on the vehicle was expired. The officer pulled in behind the vechicle and initiated his blue lights. Eskridge came to the vehicle and was advised ofthe city noise ordinance and about leaving the vehicle unattended while still running. Eskridge was told to sit inside of his vehicle and wait for the officer to return. Instead, he stood beside his vehicle. When the officer went to his patrol car to start issuing a citation, he looked up and Eskridge waswalking away from his vehicle, going toward the Petro Express entrance. The officer exited the patrol car and told Eskridge to return to his vehicle. Eskridge told him no, he was going to get some matches. The officer advised Eskridge he was now under arrest. He was told several times to put his hands behind his back. He finally complied, putting his hands behind his back, but refused to walk to the patrol car. Eskridge kept pulling away while the officer was escorting him to the vehicle.
He has been charged with 1 count of misdemeanor expired registration and
1 count misdemeano resisting a public officer
The trial has been scheduled for 06/09/08
