CHERRYVILLE - Pearl Mae Neal Mason, 94, passed away June 18, 2009, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 7, 1914, in Bessemer City, to the late Thomas and Annie Froneberger Neal.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City.

The Revs. Roy Clark and Dave Herbertson will be officiating.

Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Mason Mauney of the home; sons, William Mason of Cherryville, Charles Mason and wife Ann of Blacksburg, S.C., James Mason and wife Lenita of Cherryville, Wayne Mason and wife Jill of Conway, S.C.; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Everett Mason; daughter, Annie Mae Jackson; grandson, Steve Cochran.
Pallbearers will be Mark Shope, Chris Shope, Jason Barnes, Lloyd Shope, Dennis Street, Chad Hopper.
