PATIENT
CITED FOR STEALING MEDICAL
SUPPLIES...AGAIN
By
Jon Mayhew (LINCOLNTON)
-- A Denver woman is cited for
stealing medical supplies from a local
hospital. And The Carolina Scoop has
learned it's not the first time Pamela
Bradshaw has tried to take supplies from
Carolinas Medical Center Lincoln.
Bradshaw
was a patient at the hospital on
Wednesday around 10:30am, when a hospital
employee saw Bradshaw trying to carry
away several items.
According
to responding officer Mark Sain, the
employees noticed the items in one of
Bradshaw's bags.
"She
consented to a search," said Sain.
"The items were found."
Items
included blood pressure cuffs; more than
60 pairs of rubber gloves; plastic trash
bags; oxygen masks; band aids; betadine
pads; nail polish pads; and a bag of
cotton balls.
Bradshaw,
of Executive Circle in Denver, was cited
for larceny and given a court date of
Feb. 25.
The
items were returned to the hospital.
Last
year, officer Kameron Keener responded to
CMC Lincoln after reports Bradshaw was
trying to take two large plastic bags of
items from the hospital.
At that
time, Bradshaw claimed the items were
left by her bed and she thought she could
take them.
