Repo agents looking for a vehicle
end up leaving an elderly woman
stranded in the Bi-Lo parking lot
late Wednesday night and the
woman's daughter upset about the
incident.
The victim stopped an officer in
the parking lot on North Generals
Boulevard just after 11pm.
"She said there was an
elderly female in the car and the
repossession company had the
female get out of the car so they
could take the vehicle,"
said Lt. Kenny Shrum.
The repo agents then drove off
with all of the women's
belongings in the vehicle
including medications, keys,
phones, purses and other items.
Originally, agents told police
the women could recover their
personal belongings after
speaking to a company supervisor;
however, officers were able to
get the personal belongings from
the vehicle.
