accompanying high winds that blew across
Lincoln County caused problems Wednesday
afternoon.

Lincoln County Emergency Medical
Technician has been bitten by a patient
while en route to the hospital.

Sheriffs detective Robin Powell has
charged two teenagers in the theft of a
dirt bike from a West Highway 150
residence in July of 2008.

Workshops Planned for Livestock and
Forage Producers

Carolina Cooperative Extension is
offering a series of livestock and forage
production workshops during the month of
January for area producers. The high cost
of inputs such as fertilizer, feed, fuel
and equipment has led many producers to
search for options to reduce operating
costs or new enterprises that will
generate more income.

car accident at the intersection of
Gaston Street and South Generals
Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon. Sergeant
Willie Vaughn with the Lincolnton Poice
said no injuries were reported in the
accident. The driver of the Mercury was
cited for driving without a license.

Sheriff's Office are investigating
break-ins involving the thefts of large
amounts of jewelry and firearms,
including a NASCAR 2008 Championship
Ring. Now, detectives are asking for the
public's help.
