SEARCHING FOR RUNAWAY YOUTH
By
Jon Mayhew
NORTH
LINCOLN -- The Lincoln County
mobile command unit, along with law
enforcement, medic and North 321
firefighters, are at a residence in the
2200 block of North Street, off Car Farm
Road.
Around
10:30pm Friday, a 12-year-old ran away
from home. Searchers are looking for the
five-foot-five tall juvenile.
The cold
and darkness are working against
searchers looking for the boy. He
reportedly has his grandmother's cell
phone but nobody can reach the youth.
Radio traffic indicated
searchers were reporting to the mobile
command unit, located in the cul-de-sac
of North Street. The boy ran away from
home after being punished by his mother.

With the hurting economy and bleak
outlook for many people, there will
probably be an increase in larceny,
breaking and entering and theft. There
have been several attempts at breaking
and entering vending machines. All
business owners/vendors should pay extra
attention to outside vending machines. If
you have an information about breaking
and enterings on Killian Road and Windy
Pine Circle you can call Crime Stoppers
at 704-736-8909. You could receive up to
$1000 for information that leads to an
arrest.
