By Jon Mayhew

NORTH LINCOLN -- The Lincoln County mobile command unit, along with law enforcement, medic and North 321 firefighters, are at a residence in the 2200 block of North Street, off Car Farm Road.

Around 10:30pm Friday, a 12-year-old ran away from home. Searchers are looking for the five-foot-five tall juvenile.

The cold and darkness are working against searchers looking for the boy. He reportedly has his grandmother's cell phone but nobody can reach the youth.

Radio traffic indicated searchers were reporting to the mobile command unit, located in the cul-de-sac of North Street. The boy ran away from home after being punished by his mother.
