CHERRYVILLE - Nellie Sue
Reynolds Patterson Bowen, 80, of 1185
John Cline Ct., died Thursday June 25,
2009 at her residence.
She was born in Cleveland Co. on March
29, 1929 a daughter of the late Charlie
Reynolds and Edith Self Reynolds Craig.
Mrs. Bowen was a homemaker and member of
Revival Tabernacle.
In addition to her parents she was
preceded in death by her husbands Audie
Patterson and Glenn Bowen, and a son
Billy Joe Patterson.
Survivors include her children Betty
Black Vale, Shirley Huffman, Lincolnton,
Christine Hester and Dave of Lincolnton,
Mary Brook and Gene, Lincolnton, Doris
Black and Mike, Lincolnton, Maxine Smith
and Robert, Bessemer City, Steve
Patterson and Jeanie, Cherryville, and
Johnny Patterson, Vale. 30 grandchildren,
47 great grandchildren and one great
great grandchild.
Funeral services at House of Prayer,
Fallston, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at
11:00 AM with Rev. Clyde Price and Rev.
Tony Franklin officiating. The family
will receive friends at House of Prayer
in Fallston on Friday, June 26, 2009
after 6:00 PM. Burial will follow the
service at the church cemetery.
