EAST LINCOLN MAN FACES CHILD SEX CHARGES

DENVER – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detective Sally Dellinger and the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Team arrested Michael Dorsey Needham, 34, 3721 Henderson Street, Denver, on child sex charges Wednesday.

Detective Dellinger charged Needham with one count of first degree rape of a child; one count of first degree sex offense with a child; one count of second degree sex offense with a child and one count of taking indecent liberties with a child.

“After an investigation was done from a report of sexual assaults on a juvenile, Needham was arrested at his residence in Denver,” said Dellinger.

Needham was taken to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond. His first appearance was in Lincoln County District Court on Thursday.
