- The Lincolnton/Lincoln County
Interagency Narcotics Unit arrested two people
Tuesday in separate illegal drug cases.
Investigators arrested Jennifer Turner Walls, 34,
of 3494 Eaker Road, Cherryville after they went
to her residence and discovered marijuana plants
growing on the property. She was charged with
manufacturing a Scheduled 6 Controlled Substance
(Marijuana) and placed under a $16,000 secured
bond.
In an unrelated incident, narcotics officers
arrested Karan Lynn Holmes-Still, 45, of 2818
Rhoney Farm Road in Vale. She was arrested after
investigators conducted a buy-bust operation
where approximately 90 grams of crystal meth was
seized. Another 7 grams of crystal meth was found
at Ms. Stills residence. The arrest
followed a four month long undercover operation
and more arrests are expected.

Methamphetamine

Ms.
Holmes-Still was charged with Trafficking By
Possession of Methamphetamine, Trafficking By
Transporting Methamphetamine, Trafficking by
Selling Methamphetamine, Trafficking By Delivery
of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Vehicle for
Storage of a Controlled Substance. She is also
charged with two counts each of Possession With
the Intent To Sell and Deliver Meth and Sell and
Delivery of Meth.
She was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention
Center under a $300,000 secured bond.
