Operation Leads to An Arrest

LINCOLNTON -- Narcotics
investigators arrested a Lincolnton man following
a two month long undercover operation.
Jerry Wade Peace, 31, of 223 Lingerfelt Road,
Lincolnton is charged with three counts of
Possession With The Intent To Manufacture a
Controlled Substance, three counts of Sell and
Deliver of a Schedule 1 Controlled substance and
1 count each of Maintaining a Dwelling or Vehicle
for Storage of A Controlled Substance, possession
of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana,
and trafficking cocaine. All the charges are
felonies. Officers also seized a half-ounce of
marijuana when the suspect was arrested.
Peace is in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center
under a $106,000 secured bond
The arrest continues the Narcotics Unit target of
street level dealers and more arrests are
expected.
