MILLENNIUM
WRESTLING FEDERATION

THE
"PROPHECY" IS FULFILLED.....
"Alley Rat"
Pitt becomes MWF Champion, alligns with The
Family
HOWARDS CREEK-- "Father"
David Hayes was smiling and laughing by the end
of the MWF wresling show at the Howards Creek
Veterans Center Saturday night. He had a lot of
reason to; not only did he "convert" a
new member to his stable known as "The
Family," the new stable member -- "The
Alley Rat" Pitt -- became MWF World
Champion.
And 350-pound
monster didn't have to pin anyone in a match to
win the championship.
Instead, prior
to the tag team title match main event, Pitt came
to the ring to take issue with one-time interim
commissioner Chris Mellon holding the World
Title.
"It's
disrespectful not to have a champion," said
Pitt of the title, which was vacated twice in the
last two MWF shows due to non-wrestling related
injuries. "Father" David Hayes won the
title, only to vacate it due to an ankle injury.
"The All American" Rob Deputy won the
title at supershow Ground Zero, only to have to
vacate the title due to emergency surgery.
"It's bad
for all the guys in the back," continued
Pitt. "A wrestler, and not an announcer,
needs to hold the title."
Pitt did
something strangely uncharacteristic at the time;
he challenged Mellon, a non-wrestler, to submit,
also known as tapping out, in a match.
Mellon, who
stated he had a family and a livelihood that was
much more important than getting injured, tapped
the canvas once. Pitt then declared himself
champion.
Pitt then issued
a challenge, saying "anyone who's man enough
to come take this belt from me, come on."
"Father"
David Hayes appeared, saying he wasn't medically
cleared to wrestle.
At first, it
looked as if Pitt and Hayes were headed for a
physical confrontation, until Pitt put his arm
around the "Father's" shoulder,
revealing to the dismay of the crowd his
allegiance to the hated stable known as "The
Family."
It wasn't until
after the main event pitting World Tag Team
Champions Damage Inc. against Audio Shotgun that
all hell would break loose at the Vet Center, and
the true impact of Pitt's decision would be felt.
While the other
members of "The Family"
double-and-triple teamed "Outlaw" Keith
Matthews and "The Sensation" Marcus
Hayes, Pitt kept former friends like "The
Pacific Tsunami" Nave and Hojo "The
Devil" Devlin at bay, albeit for just a
couple of moments.
An elated
"Father" David Hayes proclaimed to a
stunned crowd the "prophecy" he
promised would come true did, indeed, come true.
"Just when
you think you know all the answers, I go and
change all the questions," said Hayes.
"Now The Family is at full strength."
The other
members of the family are rookie Nick James and
the tag-team of Audio Shotgun, "The Waco
Kid" Adam Awesomeo and "The Queen City
Classic" Chris Solar. Audio Shotgun recently
won -- and lost -- the MWF World Tag Team Title.
The announcement
and stunning change in Pitt's philosphy capped a
night of surprises that saw the manager of the
North American Champion become interim
commissioner.
Trey Williams,
manager of Mr. Badd, announced he was appointed
to the post by the MWF Board of Directors and
revealed the next MWF supershow would be
Onslaught, scheduled for Sept. 13.
Both Chris
Mellon and Williams exchanged words upon Williams
making the announcement.
"Finally,
the MWF Board appoints a real commissioner,"
said Williams, "instead of this knucklehead
Chris Mellon."
Mellon
retaliated later in the show, by introducing
Williams as the North American Champion's
"girlfriend" prior to Mr. Badd defeding
the title against Nave.
The next MWF
show will be Aug. 23 at the Howards Creek
Veterans Center. Doors open at 7pm and the bell
time is 8pm. For more information, visit www.mwf-live.com.
