MUSCADINE CLASS TEACHES BASICS

VALE -- People who want to learn about the muscadine or growing muscadines are encouraged to attend a workshop given by Cooperative Extension in Lincoln County.

The event will be held at Woodmill Winery on Thursday, Feb. 5 from 9:30am - 3pm.

This workshop will feature presentations on muscadine production; grape variety selection; pest and weed management; vineyard economics and other topics.

Those who plan on attending are encouraged to pre-register to help us prepare for adequate hand-outs and food. The event fee is $7.00. Lunch and refreshments will be served.
