LINCOLNTON - Mrs. Mary Queen George Dellinger, 82 of 931 N. Aspen Street, Lincolnton passed away June 9, 2009 at Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born October 2, 1926 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late John Mack George and Maggie Queen George. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Dellinger is survived by a son, Mike Dellinger and wife, Pam of Stanley; a daughter, Linda Huffstetler Baxter of Lincolnton; grandson, Andy Baxter and wife, Dana of Vale; granddaughter, Kelli Dellinger Beam and husband, Trey of Cherryville; and a sister, Ruth Hawkins and husband, Robert of Lincolnton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home, Cherryville.

The funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, June 12, 2009 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.V. Allen officiating. Burial will follow in River View Baptist Church Cemetery in Lincolnton.
