CHERRYVILLE - Mary Alice Sigmon Dellinger, 79, of 1605 Hwy 274, Cherrvyille, died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at her home

Mrs. Dellinger was born on June 6, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late Earl Franklin Sigmon and Rosabelle Quickel Sigmon. She was retired form Clar Mar Company as a seamstress. Mary was also a member of North Brook Baptist Church.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Stowe Dellinger, grandson, Ray Heavner; brother, Ralph Sigmon; and sister Elizabeth Blanton.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Smith & husband Scott and Kay Heavner and husband Bobby both of Cherryville; two brothers, Henry Lee Sigmon of Lincolnton; and three grandchildren, Samuel Heavner, Hannah Smith, and Ann Smith.

The family will receive friends at the home on Sunday from 1:00 until 4:00 PM.
