SCHOOLS REPORTED ON LOCKDOWN WEDNESDAY

DENVER
Two schools in eastern Lincoln
County were on lockdown
Wednesday according to officials with
Lincoln County Schools.
According to spokesperson Belinda
Branson, students at
Catawba Springs Elementary noticed a man
wearing camouflage
in the woods.
The students were all taken inside
and the school was placed
on lockdown, said Branson, adding
East Lincoln High School
was also placed on lockdown.
Authorities with the Lincoln County
Sheriffs Office investigated.
The lockdown was lifted and students in
both schools were able
to leave at the normal times.
