By Jon Mayhew

CLEVELAND COUNTY –
Authorities in neighboring Cleveland County were put on alert Monday night after an armed robbery at a Kings Mountain business where the suspects ordered money, not pizza.

Around 9:45pm, authorities were told to be looking for two black males, wearing bandanas, where one of the suspects were armed with a small handgun.

Radio traffic indicated the duo held up a Little Caesar’s restaurant in Kings Mountain. It’s not known if anyone was injured in the robbery.

Just before 10pm, canine units in Kings Mountain were looking for the suspects. Authorities were setting up a command post in a nearby restaurant.

Around 10pm, radio traffic indicated the suspects may be at the Gaston/Cleveland County Line, near the intersection of Highways 74 and 161.
