ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SUSPECTS

CLEVELAND COUNTY
Authorities in neighboring Cleveland
County were put on alert Monday night
after an armed robbery at a Kings
Mountain business where the suspects
ordered money, not pizza.
Around 9:45pm, authorities were told to
be looking for two black males, wearing
bandanas, where one of the suspects were
armed with a small handgun.
Radio traffic indicated the duo held up a
Little Caesars restaurant in Kings
Mountain. Its not known if anyone
was injured in the robbery.
Just before 10pm, canine units in Kings
Mountain were looking for the suspects.
Authorities were setting up a command
post in a nearby restaurant.
Around 10pm, radio traffic indicated the
suspects may be at the Gaston/Cleveland
County Line, near the intersection of
Highways 74 and 161.
