NEWTON -- Linda Marie Reinhardt Lowman, age 53, of Newton passed away Monday, July 6, 2009 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. Born October 11, 1955 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of Maxine Cline Reinhardt and the late Hugh Vernon Reinhardt. Linda was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ in Claremont. Her father preceded her in death.

She is survived by:

Husband: Randy E. Lowman of the home

2 Sons: Kyle Lowman and wife Erin of Lincolnton Trent Lowman of Hickory

Granddaughter: Karsyn Lowman of Lincolnton

Mother: Maxine Cline Reinhardt of Newton

Brother: Larry Reinhardt and wife Rickie of Asheville

Nephew: Karl Reinhardt and wife Jennifer in Baltimore, MD

Niece: Erin Moorhead and husband James of Cincinnati, OH

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton.

The family will receive friends on Thursday prior to the service from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Burke Mortuary in Newton

A private burial will be held at Bethany United Church of Christ in Claremont.
