CHERRYVILLE - Kimberly Gayle Grindstaff, 30, of Oak St., died Tuesday June 23. 2009 at her residence. She was born Feb. 21, 1979 in Gaston Co. Kimberly was formerly employed by Rauche Industries.

She is survived by her children Keyln, Dominick and Katie Grindstaff of the home, mother Lila Beaty Franklin and husband Mitchell of Shelby, father Nelson W. Grindstaff and wife Margie of Gastonia, sisters Misty D. Smith, Shelby, and Sherri Greene, Gastonia brothers Nelson L. Grindstaff, Shelby, Tony Melton, Gastonia, Justin Grindstaff, Smyrna, SC, Ricky Edwards, Jr. Gastonia and Fiancée, Sam Ernest Wilson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Elliott Memorial Baptist Church, Polkville with Rev. Scott Hunt officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 - 1:45 PM.
