LINCOLNTON - Jerome Patrick Scanlon, 87, 919 Wilma Sigmon Road, Lincolnton, died June 29, 2009.

Memorial services will be July 13 at St. John’s Vianney Parish in Pittsburgh, Pa.

A native of Allegheny County, Pa., he was a machinist in the steel industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Patrick and Mary Karmen Scanlon.

Survivors include sons, Ronald Canlon of Pennsylvania, Richard Scanlon of Lincolnton and granddaughters, Christina Scanlon of Pennsylvania and Tammy Scanlon of Boone.

Memorials may be made to St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church, 148 St. Dorothy’s Lane, Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Scanlon family.
