ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

Clifford Hunter told authorities where
drugs and paraphernalia were in his
vehicle.
LINCOLNTON
-- A man carelessly driving is stopped by
Lincoln County
narcotics investigators and is arrested
on drug charges after telling
authorities where marijauna was located
in the vehicle.
Officers
stopped a vehicle driven by Bradley
Clifford Hunter on Buffalo
Shoals Road. Hunter, 310 Newcastle
Aveune, was weaving in traffic in the
500 block of Buffalo Shoals.
Investigators
stopped the vehicle and requested consent
to search
but Hunter instead told authorities where
drugs and drug paraphernalia
were located.
Seized
during the traffic stop were nearly 38
grams of marijuana valued at
$180, $131 dollars in cash and
paraphernalia such as scales and baggies
to separate marijuana.
The
truck, belonging to Hunters mother,
was not seized. Hunter is charged
with felony possession of a controlled
substance with the intent to
manufacture, possession of drug
paraphernalia and misdemeanor failure to
reduce speed.
He was
placed in the Harven A.Crouse Detention
Center under a $5,800
secured bond.
