Apple Butter Cookies

INGREDIENTS
- ¼ cup softened
butter or margarine
- 1 cup packed brown
sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup quick cooking
oats
- ½ cup apple butter
- 1 cup all-purpose
flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 Tbs milk
- ½ cup nuts, chopped
- ½ cup raisins
DIRECTIONS:
- In a mixing bowl,
cream butter or margarine
and sugar. .
- Beat in egg, oats,
and apple butter.
- Combine dry
ingredients; gradually
add to creamed mixture
along with the milk; beat
until blended.
- Stir in nuts and
raisins.
- Chill well.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls
onto a lightly greased
cookie sheet. .
- Bake at 350F for 15
minutes.

NOTE:Freeze baked
cookies in tins or
freezer bags for the
months ahead.
