LINCOLNTON
-- The "Gifts for
Children" concert held Friday night
at Highland Drive Church in Lincolnton
raised more than $1,200, and now children
across Lincoln County will have a merrier
Christmas.
Members
of the Highland Drive Church choir, the
Lincoln County Sheriff's Office and
Lincolnton Police formed a choir singing
traditional and non-traditional songs.
Several
members of the Lincoln County Sheriff's
Department, including Sgt. Jordan Cody;
chaplain and Highland Drive pastor Brian
Williams and detective Kelly Paris
performed during the concert.
It was
Paris' song "Christmas Shoes"
that touched the more than 50 people that
attended the event.

Shoes" is below.
