DENVER - Gary Wayne Bolick, age 52, of Sherwood Lane, Denver passed away, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley in Newton.

Born July 10, 1957 in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Dewey Bolick and the late Agnes Fradey Bolick. Gary was a member of Glory land Baptist Church in Lincolnton.

He is survived by:

His Wife of 27 years: Mary Dugger Bolick of the home.

3 Sons: Gary Bolick, II, of Lincolnton; Paul Bolick of Sherrills Ford; Steven Bolick of the home.

1 Daughter: Kelley Bolick of Lincolnton.

1 Brother: James Bolick of Granite Falls.

1 Stepbrother: Marvin Smith

1 Grandson: Steven Bolick, Jr.

1 Granddaughter: Morgan Rose.

The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Gloryland Baptist Church in Lincolnton with Rev. Macon Ballard and Rev. Perry Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends, prior to the service, from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at Gloryland Baptist Church in Lincolnton on Wednesday, August 12, 2009.
