WANTED FUGITIVE APPREHENDED

By Jon Mayhew [LINCOLNTON] – Police serving a warrant on a Lincolnton man discover the man’s girlfriend is a wanted robbery fugitive from Ohio.

Now, the couple is in jail.

According to Sgt. Willie Vaughn, he was serving a warrant on Terrence Moore, 111 Hubbard Street, when he discovered Earnice Brenson, 51, was wanted on charges out of the Buckeye State.

“I also cited her for possession of drug paraphernalia,” said Vaughn, adding Brenson was charged with a fugitive warrant as well as felony probation violation.

Brenson was taken to jail without bond. Moore, meantime, was charged with failing to comply with a fictitious tag. His bond was set at $176 cash.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Web site, Moore has been released from jail while Brenson remains behind bars. No mugshot on either suspect was available.
