FOURTH
DRUG SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

COUNTY) -- Corey Jamaal Howard
fled a drug raid in eastern Lincoln
County at the end of Januray. Howard's
run ended Wednesday when he turned
himself in to authorities in Gaston
County.
Howard,
24, of 653 Rufus Road fled his home as
officers armed with a search warrant went
to the residence. Three other
people inside were taken into custody.
Howard
is charged with maintaining a dwelling
for a controlled substance, possession
with the intent to sell and deliver a
controlled substance, and possession of
drug paraphernalia. He was
transported to Lincoln County and taken
before a magistrate.
He was
released on a $30,000 secured bond.
Officers
seized 550.1 grams of marijuana valued at
$1,800 and approximately $40,000 in cash
found a several locations in the home and
a vehicle. Scales, Baggies,
Grinders and 3 handguns were also
confiscated.
