FISTFIGHT AT GASTON COURTHOUSE ENDS IN ARREST

GASTONIA -- A Lincolnton man is one of two people arrested earlier this week after
a fist fight at the Gaston County Courthouse in Gastonia.

Thirty-three year old Willie Deese Adams of West State Street, Lincolnton,
and Danudi Wendu Dawkins, 31, Kings Mountain, were both charged with
disorderly conduct and taken to the Gaston County Jail under a $5,000
bond each.

The fight between the two happened near the front doorway of the court
house. The pair were throwing punches and shoving each other according
to The Carolina Scoop's news partner, The Gastonia News.

A deputy with the Gaston County Sheriff's Office had to step between the
two men to break up the fight.
