HOUSE FIRE UNDER
INVESTIGATION By

LINCOLN -- A two-alarm fire is under
investigation Tuesday night by the Lincoln County
Fire Marshall's Office and centers around a power
line that came down behind a High Knoll Road
residence. High Knoll Road is off
Maiden Highway near the Highway 321 interchange.
In exclusive video from The Carolina Scoop,
firefighters can be seen working the fire on both
the downstairs and upstairs level. Firefighters
from North 321 and Boger City were dispatched
around 7 p.m. after the homeowner came home and
discovered smoke coming from the residence.
Thick black
smoke could also be seen miles away from the
fire, which was across the street from the One
Stop.
No injuries
were reported. High Knoll Road is a long, private
dirt road. The residence is located next door to
the North 321 Fire Department. At least three
engines in total responded to the scene along
with Lincoln County EMS
Boger City and North 321 Fire Departments also
responded to a fully involved sturcture fire at
the end of Alberry Road, where an outbuilding was
on fire behind a house.
It was
believed several automobiles were close to the
structure. Firefighters responded to the scene
after getting the call around 8:15 p.m.
Firefighters
report the homeowners are not home at Alberry
Road and the vehicles in the driveway cannot be
moved.
